Chicago Metro Table Soccer Club was founded on November 5, 2016 in Naperville, a western suburb of Chicago. Our club promotes the game of Subbuteo table soccer which is also known as table football. We are a group of sports enthusiasts and we welcome all who want to get more involved with this great game. Our main objective is to include players of exceptional character that enjoy the competitive aspect of table soccer but at the same time show great sportsmanship and fair play.
HISTORY: The Chicago Area Subbuteo Club was the first club in the Chicago area and was created in February of 2014 but in June of 2014 it split into two clubs, the Chicago Area Subbuteo Club and the Hercules Subbuteo Club. The Hercules Subbuteo Club expanded by acquiring players outside the Chicago area and in July of 2014 it was renamed to Midwest United Subbuteo Club. After playing separately for a few months, members of the two clubs decided to merge and on December 14, 2014 created the Chicago United Table Soccer Club which in June of 2016 was renamed as Chicago Table Soccer Club. On November 5, 2016, three members of the Chicago T.S.C. that wanted a club involved with the fun aspect of the game created the Chicago Metro Table Soccer Club.
AFFILIATIONS: Our club supports all National and International organizations that promote this great game, especially the World Amateur Subbuteo Players Association (WASPA), the Federation International Sports Table Football (FISTF), the American Subbuteo Association and all other clubs and players that are not part of any association.
